OYO Hotel Shelby MT Hwy 2 & I-15

Nice budget hotel. I can't really complain because we have been paying $68 per night. The man on the phone helped me out with keeping the same discounted price each night. It's clean the heater is nice and quiet. I'm a bit disappointed in the reviews this place got. Yeah the employees here are an Indian family but I'm not sure why people would be upset over that. They've been nice and helpful to me. I like their dog they have in the office and how cute it is behind the desk with all their things hanging on the wall. It gives the place personality. My only complaint is their booking system is really difficult. I don't fault the employees at this location because it seems like the system is to blame. It has made extra bookings I never asked for and the staff here has helped me get those cancelled and fixed. I'm not sure if it's a bug when you have multiple stays but make sure to have the office print you an invoice everytime you stay so you can get that sorted out and keep checking your emails for any discrepancies in their system.

Was a quick easy reservation, but I messed up the dates required. They did accomodate my request on arrival with an updated price and the exact room required. Room was quite clean and the annemities were in good condition.

Everything is great, staff is helpful and attentive, our room was renovated and stylish. Love orange style! My daughter 6yo loved the room and was dancing there using a big space we had. Carpet on the floor would be nice but many hotels tend to not have it nowadays so it’s not a real issue. We stayed there to go to Mount Rushmore next day, it was the closest budget location. Will stay again.

The hotel is right in the centre of town so you couldn’t ask for a better place. I liked it because it’s quiet and clean.

This is our second time staying and it’s a great budget-class hotel. Clean and friendly, accommodating staff that speak very good English. We especially love rooms with no carpet and do not allow pets as we have allergies and this hotel is perfect. We will continue to use this hotel on our cross border travels.

Clean and comfortable room for a one night stay. The bed and bedding were satisfactory and we enjoyed a restful night sleep. Plentiful hot water and satisfactory water pressure for our morning shower and the bathroom, while showing some signs of age, was very clean. The towels were also clean but not at all scratchy. That's always a plus in my book! The front desk staff was welcoming and friendly during check-in and also upon our departure the next morning. We felt very safe at their location despite not being familiar with the area. It was easy enough to navigate Shelby and the OYO was convenient for our needs. We were on our way to a friend's for breakfast so I did not get to try the available coffee, but it smelled really good. We would certainly stay here again if/when we find ourselves in the area.

Rooms were clean but outdated. Cable service did not work. Close to interstate and food was next door. Staff friendly

It's a rebranded Motel 6. I stayed at the beginning of July was pricy but still less than others in the area. Rooms are clean, and the beds were comfortable, but pillows were horrible as expected. Rooms are not soundproof, so expect to get up when the people above you start moving. I would stay here again. Knowing what to expect. Room 121 TV was shit.
